When should you change your car’s brake pads?

The lifespan of a set of brake pads is dependent on a various reasons – material, type, composition, driving style, maintenance, heat, pressure, fraction, etc. Mechanics and manufacturers reveal that pads can last from a mere 100 miles to an astounding 100,000 miles. Given such far-ranging numbers, how can you know when do your brake pads need to be changed?
Of course, the best time to deal with brake pad problems or brake problems is before they happen. By applying some car diagnostic tool, that do not require more mechanical experience, one can easily find out whether the brake pads are worn.
An obd scanner will perfectly solve the problem. The tool will provide you with one or more codes, pointing problems with your vehicle system. And you can learn if the brake pads are alright after looking up what the codes mean.
